So the other night I had a dream that I went back in time to 1999 and was attending Columbine, but it was the day before Eric and Dylan shot up the school and I was tasked to make friends with Eric Harris, only I didn't want to because he was weird as fuck. But like I had to be friend's with him cause I didn't want to get shot the next day. King kong was also there for some reason.

Some Americans on here have gotten far too comfortable shitting on the British and English in the least appropriate ways possible. Like, there's a lot of shit like how 'British' is assumed to be white, middle class, and racist (which is really quite offensive to British folks who are not those things, and have worked hard to be accepted as British). The British "people" meme was funny for about a day before it got old, weird, and uncomfortable. Americans shouldn't call the UK 'TERF island', that's a term for British trans people to use, NOT Americans.
Think about it this way. It's inappropriate for British folks to make fun of school shootings or people suffering from the healthcare system. Those things are meant to be taken seriously. Colonialism is a serious issue- and as funny as it is to shit on the royal family and those overly-nationalistic people, it is not funny when you punch in the wrong direction. Making fun of AAVE or Southern dialects is wrong, and so is making fun of MLE and Northern British/English accents. Making fun of cultural foods, especially those created by and for working class people and immigrants, is wrong! It's weird!
I'm not saying that (white cishet abled etc) British people are, like, oppressed. That would be fucking dumb. It's just weird, unfunny, uncomfortable, and at the worst times classist and racist, to keep beating a dead horse with all the memes. Chill.

Jean: you're a simp for the dandelion tights and/or your parents fought/fight a lot and always said "you can come to me about anything" but got mad or ignored you when you did, now you take care of everyone else and never bother about yourself
Keqing: you grew up religious but are now an atheist, and you're a perfectionist, you hate when things aren't perfect but they usually aren't and you blame yourself
Klee: you're a little destructive, usually accidentally, and the clumsiest person you know. you always mean well but it seems like every time you try to fix something it's like trying to fix a cake that's falling over and all you have is more frosting to make it messier
Mona: you want people to always think you're the smartest person in the room, and you want people to respect you and maybe fear you just a little, but you're always wondering if people think you're just kind of weird and don't like you at all
Qiqi: you want to be helpful, you really do, but you're a jack of all trades and you don't have anything you're really good at, and especially not the best at, so you always choose the lowest-stakes path of least resistance
Tartaglia: you like things that make you think about it, and hate things that rely on pure skill unless you're really skilled, in which case you're super competitive because you want people to think you're really smart and you want to prove to yourself you're as smart as you think you are
Venti: you were probably popular in middle school, or at least not unpopular. you have a lot of friends but none of them are close; you feel a little hopeless sometimes but the one thing you're really good at is distracting yourself from the impending doom by horsing around and not thinking about the future
Xiao: you had a really cringe edgy emo phase at some point in your youth and you hate any and all pictures of you when you were younger, regardless of whether they were from that time or not. you yesterday embarrasses you and every time you make even the tiniest mistake you want to scrap everything and get a fresh start, preferably a few hundred miles away where no one knows anything about you
Zhongli: you're probably an asian who's good at math and you're kind of bitter because it's a stereotype, you're not the tv trope nerd but math is satisfying and makes you happy, and/or you like when things are simple and have one right answer, chaos pisses you off because you're only comfortable when you're in total and complete control of everything
Eula: you're upper middle class or rich and that makes you feel guilty even though you've done nothing wrong to get there

Exactly, like i hate it i hate it i hate it, but fuuuuck.
Like there is potential for this to happen even if it was another crisis of some kind but the potential for this, it hurts even more.
I thought of another reason it would hurt- Chris was the one to tell the doctor in 5x01 that Eddie was shot.
I see your idea and I raise you- Chris does want to talk about it and that forces them to face it. Because we have seen chris hide things from eddie before because he wants to protect his dad, so to have it happen again the same way is not giving either of them character growth.
